Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF)

TIF is an advanced treatment for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The TIF procedure treats the underlying cause of GERD by reconstructing an esophageal valve—the body’s natural physical barrier to reflux. This procedure is performed through the mouth, resulting in zero incisions or scars, and is often very successful as many patients experience immediate relief from symptoms. This minimally invasive acid reflux treatment eliminates heartburn without medication and improves quality of life without the need for a hospital stay.

Esophageal Stent

To help a patient swallow soft food and drink more easily, a stent is placed in the esophagus near a narrowing or blockage to open up the esophagus.
