Tests & Screenings

Detecting the source of your digestive disorder is one of the first steps in proper treatment. At Westlake Hospital, we offer a wide range of tests and screenings at our imaging center. See below for common diagnostic tests and screenings your doctor may order to help with accurately diagnosing  the the problem.

ERCP is Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography. This technique combines endoscopy and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat certain conditions of the liver and pancreas.

Small bowel capsule endoscopy

The procedure is an examination of the middle portion of your digestive tract —- including the small intestine. A small, pill-sized capsule (that contains a camera) is given to a patient to swallow, doctors are then able to view pictures of the small intestine as the camera makes its way through the body.
